Steps To Link An Email Account To Outlook


Microsoft Outlook is an email application that lets the user synchronize all their email accounts under a single application window. Follow the Outlook tech support instructions below to sync your Email account, irrespective of the type or provider, with ease.

Click on the File option in the top left corner of the Outlook window. From the File drop down menu, select the Add Account option.
Enter your name next to the label Your Name when prompted. Enter your e-mail address and password into the spaces next to the E-mail Address and Password labels. Re-enter the Password when prompted.
Click on the icon Next to proceed to the next step of installation. If Outlook is configured with the details submitted above, you can quit the set up. If the error or issue continues to persist, add necessary additional information. Check in the box next to the Manually configure server settings label and press the Next option to continue.
Click on the Internet E-mail option and then hit the Next option to proceed further.
Type in your Account details, including the Incoming Server and Outgoing Server Information details, into the spaces next to the labels that read the same.
Enter your email account, user name and password when prompted. Click on the More Settings button to proceed to the next step.
Enter the Email and service provider information details like the Outgoing server authentication settings into the respective fields in the Outgoing server Window.
Click OK, and then click the Next option. Click Finish to exit the set up, and to bring the changes in effect.
Make sure that you have an active internet connection. You will be unable to send or receive messages on Outlook if you do not have an active Internet connection. To check your Internet connection status, navigate to the Network connections page in your control panel page. Right click on the icon labeled Local Area connection. Select the label named Enable to activate the internet connection. Contact your service provider if the problems with internet connection continue to persist.

How To Fix Windows Installer Error 1603

Error 1603 can be annoying especially when you are just a few steps away from setting up your new software. Follow the simple guidelines briefed below to fix the Installer Error 1603.

·         Make sure that you do not install the new software code in the substitute drive. Installing the software in the substitute drive can make your system display the error 1603.
·         Do not install your software code in an encrypted folder or location. Most encrypted folder locations will accept or allow the proper installation of the software. They can often make your system display the error message.
·         Place a tick mark in the box next to the label that reads Grant full access to the System account so that you install the software with much ease. Navigate into the System account settings page. To launch the system account settings page, launch the My Computer window page.
·         Navigate into the My computer Window and right click on the drive in which you want to install the new program. For this, click on the Start Orb, placed on the bottom left corner of the home screen. From the Start menu pop, click on the label that reads My Computer. This will launch the My Computer window. Now, right click the drive in which you want to install the software. From the right click dropdown, select the label that reads Properties. This will launch the Properties tab.
·         From the properties window, select the security tab. Scroll down the security tab and select one of the two options from the Security tab. If you are using Windows 2000 machine, make sure that the Name box has the System user account installed for Windows 2000. If you are using Windows XP, make sure the Group/user names box has the System user account included.
·         If your System account does not appear, click on the option Add. This will make the Select users or Groups option to display. Choose the label System in the name filed and then hit the Add option. Once done with naming, hit the OK button.
·         Go to the Permissions fields. Place a tick mark in the box next to the label that reads Full Control and select the Advanced label. Place a tick mark next to the label that reads Replace permission entries on all child objects ...child objects. Place a tick mark next to the label that reads System Account and hit the OK button.
